What is TimeGrab?
- TimeGrab is a media and shopping platform for web, mobile and iPTV – positioned to be the go-to-place before, during, and after fun events.
- TimeGrab provides rich media, great content, easy shopping and loads of fun.
- TimeGrab searches the web and your networks to find great pictures, videos, stories and events from past and future times in a visually interactive timeline environment.
How can I use TimeGrab?
- We help fans get what they want, where they want it, in the way they want. Fans receive a rich media experience, easy shopping and event specific tools for the web, mobile device, and iPTV. Search from thousands of team, artist and celebrity timelines to discover great content and events from past and future times.
Give me an example of how I would use it?
- TimeGrab has endless possibilities. We encourage you to engage with the app and learn all of the fantastic features it has to offer.
- One example or use of TimeGrab could begin with searching your favorite artist. The user would search for Justin Bieber and a personalized timeline for you would emerge full of Bieber content. From this timeline, a user could scroll to the left and view Bieber content from the past, similarly, a user could scroll to the right and Bieber content from the future can be viewed.
What kind of content can I view?
- Depending on which networks you choose to connect on your feedsource page, you will be shown videos, pictures, news, social network posts and event listings related to your search query. Content from YouTube, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr can be activated and connected to better personalize your timeline. We can easily integrate with other networks so let us know how we can improve TimeGrab!
How do I buy tickets?
- Should you find content, merchandise, or tickets you would like to purchase, simply click the frame of the event and select “Buy Tickets”.
How does TimeGrab know what I like?
- You tell us! We continuously learn from content you like and dislike to better personalize your TimeGrab experience. This way, the timelines become better suited for you, the user.
What is a Frame?
- You see those interactive, square boxes on your TimeGrab timeline? Those are frames! A frame is a single link to online content from sites such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, other websites and more.
What is Stage view?
- "Stage view" or "stagescape" is a dashboard view to a window of content. People can grab any image or frame and move it to the core of the Center Stage, creating a timeline around the content that is center stage.
What is Set view?
- Set view organizes your content by source in a layered timeline. It is an alternative viewing method to Stage view.
- To access Set View, simply click the Set View button on the bottom of the TimeGrab page.
What is Center Stage?
- TimeGrab manages key information, content, and material in the Center Stage.
- The user's preferences, status and recommendations of their network. It is the search box for a circle of information to be shared or recorded.
- Simply drag any frame into center stage to build a timeline and environment around that content.
How do I edit my Feed Sources?
- To edit the networks and add interests that personalize your timeline, single click Center Stage and select the Edit Feed Sources button.
- On the Feed Sources page, you are able to connect and disconnect your networks with a single swipe.
- To log into your social network profile, swipe a network to connect and input your social network username and password in the popup login screen.
- You are also able to add and delete single or strings of terms that interest you the Edit Interests text box.
What if I don’t want to sign into a social network?
- TimeGrab is built for you. If you do not want your Facebook, YouTube or twitter content on your timeline, you have the ability to switch it off.
- You have the ability to personalize your content with the sources and information you have an interest in.
How do I delete frames?
- If a frame on your page does not interest you and you would like to delete it, drag the frame to the trashcan icon on the top right of the screen.
- Deleting frames gives TimeGrab information to better select the content you want to view and personalize your experience.
What if TimeGrab crashes or doesn’t work after an action?
- We encourage users to give us feedback on our product. After all, this product is for you! Click the Feedback tab on the bottom of the screen and report the issue. Remember, this is only a beta release.
